1. Listing sources
Crewelo may create business listings from business-submitted data, public websites, government or professional registers, public directories, customer submissions, or other lawful sources. Crewelo records should maintain source/provenance information sufficient to correct or explain important listing fields.
2. Unclaimed listings
An unclaimed listing must be identified in a manner that does not imply the business has signed up for Crewelo, endorsed Crewelo, accepted Crewelo terms, or agreed to receive customer work. Crewelo should not fabricate availability, response times, ratings, or verification status for an unclaimed business.
3. Claiming a listing
A person claiming a business may be required to verify control through business email/domain, phone, documents, public registration records, Stripe identity information, or another reasonable method. Crewelo may deny or reverse a claim where ownership/control is disputed or evidence is insufficient.
4. Correction and removal
Businesses may request correction of inaccurate information through [LISTING CORRECTION URL]. Requests to remove or suppress a listing will be evaluated considering privacy, public-record, consumer-information, legal, contractual, and marketplace obligations. Even after removal, Crewelo may retain a minimal suppression record needed to prevent accidental republication and to document the request.
5. Outreach to unclaimed businesses
Crewelo may contact a publicly listed business using lawful business contact details to invite it to claim or manage a listing. Crewelo will honor applicable marketing and opt-out rules. Crewelo should not route a live customer request to an unclaimed Provider unless the Provider has affirmatively agreed to receive such requests or another lawful and transparent arrangement applies.
