1. Review integrity
Reviews should reflect a genuine first-hand experience with the reviewed Provider. Crewelo may label or restrict reviews where authenticity cannot reasonably be established. Reviews may not be fabricated, purchased, coerced, conditioned on positive sentiment, posted by undisclosed employees/owners, or used for extortion.
2. Prohibited content
Content may be removed or restricted if it is illegal, fraudulent, infringing, defamatory under applicable law, threatening, hateful, sexually exploitative, privacy-invasive, deceptive, spam, malware, or materially unrelated to the relevant business or transaction. Critical or negative opinions are not removed merely because a business disagrees with them.
3. Provider responses
Providers may respond to reviews but may not reveal sensitive customer information, retaliate, threaten litigation solely to suppress lawful criticism, or manipulate reviewers. Responses should address the service experience rather than attack the reviewer.
4. Reporting illegal content
Crewelo will provide an electronic reporting mechanism for users or third parties to identify specific content they believe is illegal or violates policy. Reports should identify the content, explain the basis, provide a reliable contact method when appropriate, and include enough information for Crewelo to assess the report. Crewelo may request additional information.
5. Moderation process
Crewelo may use automated detection, rules, human review, user reports, transaction evidence, and risk signals to moderate content. Actions may include no action, reduced distribution, labels, removal, account restrictions, suspension, or termination. Crewelo will apply restrictions in a diligent and proportionate manner and provide reasons or appeals where required by applicable law.
6. Appeals
Where Crewelo offers an appeal or applicable law requires one, a user may challenge a moderation decision through [APPEAL URL]. Appeals should explain the error and include supporting context. A different reviewer or appropriate escalation process should be used for material cases where practicable.
