1. Transactional communications
By using Crewelo, you agree that Crewelo may send communications reasonably necessary to provide the service, including verification, login/security, lead alerts, quote and booking updates, payment/refund notices, support messages, legal notices, and account administration. Transactional messages are not marketing merely because they identify Crewelo or a Provider.
2. Marketing communications
Crewelo will send marketing email or SMS only where permitted by applicable law. Where consent is required, marketing consent will be separate, specific enough to be meaningful, and recorded. Consent to marketing is not a condition of purchasing an unrelated service where law prohibits conditioning.
3. SMS consent and opt-out
If you provide a mobile number and opt in to SMS, you authorize Crewelo or the relevant Provider, as disclosed at collection, to send the categories of messages described in the consent. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to a supported Crewelo texting number to opt out of further automated texts from that sender; reply HELP for help where supported. Other reasonable revocation requests will be honored where required by law.
A user may receive a final confirmation text acknowledging an opt-out if permitted by law. Opting out of marketing SMS does not prevent essential non-marketing messages where another lawful basis or exemption permits them, but Crewelo will honor applicable revocation rules.
4. Provider responsibility
Providers are responsible for the content and legality of communications they originate to their own leads and customers. Providers must use Crewelo consent, suppression, and opt-out features and must not upload contact lists or send marketing messages without the rights and permissions required by law.
5. Email requirements
Commercial email sent through Crewelo must use accurate sender information and subject lines, identify advertising where required, include a valid business contact/address where required, provide an effective unsubscribe mechanism, and honor opt-outs within the legally required period. Crewelo may suppress recipients across campaigns to enforce opt-outs and protect deliverability.
